On Top of the World

I love the Imagine Dragons.
Every song they have is amazing.
I have know about them for a little more than a year.
There song, "It's Time", is just becoming famous.
Thank you Neal for introducing me to them last year.

I am currently digging on their song On Top of the World.
What a great message and tune.
Every time I hear it I  immediately perk up.
As I mentioned in my last post I have so much to be thankful for.
I don't know why but the past few months I have been overwhelmed with thought of gratitude.
I realize I have so much and I am humbled that the blessings keep coming.
Yes, there are days that are lower than others, but I am alive.

Last night my roommates and I had people over to our apartment.
This is becoming a regular thing.
Okay, not really,  but it was our second time having people over.
We had pizza and watched the Walking Dead. I would not recommend this show to anyone it is kind of scuzzy.
I probably should have been doing homework but I don't regret delaying it a bit.

Side trip: I just saw a balloon flying up into the sky outside my window. What a treat. I wonder where the balloon will travel today. Who else is going to see that balloon. I kind of like the fact that it is a heart balloon. So, whoever lost their balloon, thank you for spreading the love today.

The past year I have regretted not getting more pictures of friend activities.
For heavens sake I have a camera!
But it is a chore to pull out my nice camera, so I usually choose not to take a picture.
Plus, I have never been a big fan of pictures.

I think I will have to change that.
I want pictures of my memories.
I want proof that I continuously was living on top of the world.

I hope everyone has a fabulous Valentine's day.
May the odds be ever in your favor!
^^^^^^ Oh boy, I think I am so funny!
Last year was the best Valentine's day but I hope it is better this year.

Blessed

“Life is to be enjoyed, not endured”

I am blessed.
That is all  I can say.
I am surrounded by phenomenal people.
The past month or two have been crazy.

Salt Lake is covered by snow.
I do not like cold but I do like watching the flakes fall.
In Idaho we would pray for moisture because the farmers needed it.
So, I guess snow represents hope for success.

It has been very cold this year.
Walking to school in the morning is an intimidating thing.
I even walked to school in the cold.
But alas, there is a lesson to be learned and always a positive side.
At least I have a winter coat. (Thanks, Emmy.)
Boots are in style, so I can get away with wearing them everyday.
There is heating in my home, at work, and school.
Oh, and I am not a pioneer! ;)

My friends are caring and loyal.
I have become close friends with two wonderful ladies.
Mariah and Jessica, aka. Tacoma and Viper, are two of the most understanding ladies.
I am always uplifted by them.
I also have Henrique and Stella.
I don't know how I lived without Brazilians before I came to the LDSBC.

I had the chance to go to an Ed Sheeran concert.
Everyone should look him up!
He is phenomenal.
I went with Stella, Neal, Camilla, Natalia, and Chantel.

My roommates are phenomenal.
I am having great roommate experiences.
I get to watch chick flicks with the girls.
We drink sparkly cider.
We eat cake out of a pan. (less calories! ;))

Provo.
So many old friend live there.
So many new friends live there.
I have been to dances, games, and spent a lot of nights there.
There are many experiences to be had there.
Hopefully a change happens soon and I can be there more often.

To top if all off, I have the greatest family.
I have four amazing brothers and two great sisters.
Oh, and to top it off I have the best parents.

xoxo
