One of Those Moments

Today I registered for my last semester of class, was accepted for graduation, and bought my cap and gown.
This past semester I have been well aware that my time as an LDSBC student was coming to a close.
But today it became real.
Today while I was holding my cap, gown, and tassel, I had to stop and just pause.
When did this happen?
I am twenty years old.
I am finishing my associates degree and I am about to finish my sophomore year of college.
I pay my own rent.
I am looking at starting my own phone plan.
I choose my own curfew.
I cook my own meals, and if I don't cook them, I don't eat.
I get to choose how I spend my money.
When did I become an adult.
Now, I know I have a lot to learn, but I am doing big kid things.
I am living in Salt Lake, away from my family.
I had one of those moments where I realized that life is always moving.
It is important that I am living now.
After all, when will I be twenty, living in Salt Lake, and having these experiences?

Enjoy the moments where you realize that life is moving.
I know I am going to try to do better.
Embrace the moments!

XOXO
