Today I'm thankful for good grades. I was the biggest slacker in high school and you can tell if you looked at my grades. I am very lucky to have received a leadership scholarship to the LDS Business College. One of the rules for a scholarship is my grades need to be at least a 3.0. Well, I had those kinds of grades in high school but I wanted to have great grades. I managed to get great grades this semester. I guess doing homework really does help me get good grades. My parents and teachers weren't lying to me. I had a lot of homework this semester and not a lot of time. Sometimes I had to give up fun activities for homework, but I'm so glad I did. I learned a lot this semester. I wrote an eleven page paper. I had papers sent to the president of the college. I hope I can get a 4.0 next semester. It will happen! I'm thankful that all my hard work shows.
