Today is December 1st and my birthday is on December 30. I wanted to do something fun for my blog to celebrate my birthday. I like to celebrate my birthday all month long and I wanted to incorporate my blog in with my celebration. So, I decided that I will post for thirty days things I'm thankful for. Yes, I know that most people did this last month, but I have always been a little weird! ;)
Today I'm thankful for the Irish/ Russian/ Scottish guy who I pass on the sidewalk every Tuesday and Thursday at 4:30 PM. Crysta and I have this little system where we go with each other to our night classes, so we do not have to walk home in the dark alone. Aren't you proud of my mom and Porter? Well, one time Crysta and I were fake fighting on the way to the school. Just punching each other, poking each other with sticks, and play bingo. I mean what else do you do on the way to school? We were about half way to the school when the Irish/Russian/Scottish guy passed us. He raised his finely sculpted eyebrow at us and I thought for sure he was mad at us. Well, Crysta thought the same thing and we started running to the school.
The next week we passed the guy again and he raised his eyebrow again. Okay, he seemed a little nicer this time. This continued on for a little while. Well,this last Tuesday I saw him and I decided to say hello. He raised his eyebrow and then let out the most brilliant smile. He said, "Hi there." My Tuesday night was made by the Irish/Russian/ Scottish guy.
Thank you stranger for making my Tuesday night full of sunshine. Thank you for saying hello back to me. Thank you for always passing Crysta and I at 4:30 PM every Tuesday and Thursday. I miss seeing you today and I hope I see you next week.
